My mother rescued this lucky damselfly from a spiders web on the banks of the river Nore of a summers evening. He lingered upon her hand just long enough to capture a photo!

Have I ever told you about my pill millipede obsession? If I haven't I don't know what life is any more...

Probably helps that it's not uncommon to see me/my mother crawling around with mud all over us, either pretending to be animals of any sort or hiding in trees/in bushes.

You gotta open up your eyes, this morning I was peeling a stick in the forest and a red squirrel ran up the tree beside me. And there were coal tits and chaffinches everywhere. And then the jays came in...
